Hi, Mike:
We lived in Florence for about a year in 2009, after moving into Oregon. We have lived in Mapleton since then.
We are looking for a church to be actively involved in.
Let me just say: I have a problem in any and all “isms”, religion-wise. I like what little I’ve read about FCC, here. I just want to practice unadulterated Christianity…to help others, etc. …To leave mortality with some credits on my slate…
Please let me know how to become involved with your church?

Good luck getting people behind this one. Though you make some VERY fascinating points, youre going to have to do more than bring up a few things that may be different than what weve already heard. What are trying to say here? What do you want us to think? It seems like you cant really get behind a unique thought. Anyway, thats just my opinion.:)

I usto live in Florence and attended FCC. Now I am living in Cali. I cannot find a church I enjoy going to as much as I did FCC. Randy and Mike are such good pastors, they preach so I can understand. I also love Marty and his music. I miss all of my church family.

Churches come together on Good Friday every year. The services will be from 12 pm – 3 pm at St. Andrews Episcopal Church on Tamarack & 19th St, Florence, OR (541) 997-6600.

I will be visiting Florence (where my parents and brother live) in Apris, Holy week. I want to attend church on Good Friday. I looked at ur calendar and for Good Friday, the Holiest day 4 a Christian, it says earth day but nothing about Good Friday.

I have the amazing privilege of being involved in 3 community groups. This past Sunday, Nov. 21 (All Church Commitment Sunday) demonstrated how all 3 came together to glorify God. My Friday evening Divorce Care group volunteered to move all of the Coffee Loft furniture to the Fellowship Hall (BIG job!)…my Community Group that meets on Wed. evenings spent Saturday afternoon turning the Fellowship Hall into a wonderful space that was appreciated by all…Very pretty! AND my Signing Workship ladies (from age 6-70+) came together across all generations and worshipped God with a new language for all three services on Sunday. What blessings!

Well we just started our community group back up, and i have to say that i really missed it… We have great college kids here and they really want to just share what God has done in there lifes, and help others that are struggling… I LOVE MY COMMUNITY GROUP… I can really feel that God is moving in our lifes and im excited to see where it goes and how many more college kids will show up….

What I love about my group is that we are like a family! I love that the adults can get into the word while we hear the kids voices in the background having fun! But most of all I love how we challenge each other to go deeper into the word, to go beyond Sunday’s sermon and how our leader helps us get there through weekly devotionals and study. The sound of iron sharpening iron. It’s awesome!
